Introducing Backlink and Permalink

As a newbie in starting blogs and making it successful, terms like backlink and permalink are new to the ear and understated set aside idea. I am going to elaborate my own understanding of those links and their essential role to our blogs.

Backlink Permalink

First, let me define what backlink and permalink means according to what I see it.

Backlink is a hyperlink or a simple link from another site to your site. A direct connection from different sites. Achieving this whether you write guest post from other related sites or another blogger linked your site from theirs.

While, Permalink[1]  is a portmanteau of the word of permanent and link. It is the link to a particular page within your blog. You can have customized the web address of your blog as well as the links automatically made by your platform with your post or other pages.

A permalink can be a backlink when using it as an association between guest posting or using it as reference to any related topic.

Establishing a good backlink is a hard job to do. You cannot see whom are going to give you those links. Although we know that these links from other sites will help your site improve your ranks to the search engines. But we must be very careful with the backlinks that are not related to the topic you are hosting in your blog. It will cause bad backlink and instead unrecognizable with search engines.

1.     . Page Rank – Whose blogger is not going to like higher rankings on the internet? Those links are path charms appealing search engines. The more it is to be done, the more it works.
2.       Higher density of substance – The content itself speaks for the whole impression of the blog to be successful. Content is key, bloggers knows that. It marks the brand of your content to be visible and stamp to your readers whether to stay and read a lot or leave seeing the site as a waste of time. I am guilty with this.
3.      Customizing permalinks – Permalinks usually compose of the title post you made. It is given automatically by the platform but can be customize as well. Remember the motto? Content should connect with your keywords to be substantial. So, give connections between your post title to your permalinks to associate with your blog title.

In my opinion, both backlink and permalink are one of the essential elements to the wholeness of your blog. Using it with comprehension and proper routine, it will definitely help boost making a start of a successful blog. There are a lot of guides in the internet providing a free source of useful materials on making those links noticeable to robots. It is dependent to how we treat it and how we use it on a wise decision we as a new blogger grasps the complete idea of it.
